Purpose: An eportfolio is an electronic way to showcase your learning over time. It can be used to showcase many different types of documents such as videos, picture, writings, and much more. The purpose is to reach a specific type of audience to display work. You can also use them for learning which is what I would use it for. My students could use it to demonstrate what they have learned and it can be used for feedback. The items found in an eportfolio are called "evidence" (Clemson University, 2022). I have explored 3 of the 4 tools and found them very useful and interesting as I had not used any of them before. I visited the Google sites application and it was fairly easy to access, create and figure out. I felt like it was more of a Word or Powerpoint application. I did have a little trouble when I was trying to publish the site. You can format text, add images. I was able to create a hyperlink. https://sites.google.com/view/mrsruffspecialed SeeSaw – I liked this site as it has built in resources and I can really see this to be effective as a class page and adding assignments. It was very user friendly and easy to figure out. This site you can add text, upload videos and pictures, involve parents, add activities of your own or pre-made, there is also a calendar. I was able to create a hyperlink. Weebly – This site is easy to sign up and start accessing. It does look like it is designed more for business or for an older class. I was not able to create an actual site as it wanted me to purchase it by month but it looks really easy to navigate. What I was able to access is a pre-made template for a business account that I can edit and change the wording. I was able to create a hyperlink. All of these tools were free. I have learned the very basics to each tool and enough to start a blog post for each. They are all pretty user friendly. I would like to see an already completed blog to compare to and this would help me. Any of these tools will be helpful for creating an eportfolio. I think I would choose google sites between all the choices.

Hello, My name is Lexi Ruff and I am a special education major. I am in my final few semesters before graduation. I am ready to graduate and begin teaching. I currently work with children who have autism and I teach behavior therapy with ABA therapy. I have a husband and daughter who just turned one year old. My daughter Blakeley is my life.
